I do a lot of
mold inspections and some times the timing is sad. Today I did a mold inspection for a young gal who just purchased and closed on a bank owned condo earlier in the day. She had had a home inspection by a regular home inspector. The home inspector found some of the
mold in the home, but he missed some as well. Even though she knew about some of the mold, she had no idea the extent of the damage, or the cost to remove the mold and clean it up. It was sort of sad, why didn’t she arrange for the
mold inspection before she actually owned the condo and early enough she could renegotiate the purchase if necessary. Well, one of those lessons learned!
